Hi there,

Got around all mailing issues, etc. - the only thing left to fix is the actual email received at the other end. In my preview, my layout, images, etc. shows just fine - however, none of the images make it to the recipient. I'm using absolute paths, (img src="http://www.mysite.com/images/newsletter.jpg"> and the images are definitely there. They should not have to be attached separately, should they?

Any ideas?

I just made a test from your site, and the image was sent correctly!

Hi I am having a similar problem.

I send a test using a template and here are the results displaying both in Outlook & Gmail:
* images on template are fine (no broken images)
* made an article to place in template (only some images in the article are displaying, others are broken)
* There are no differences in the coding or location with the images displaying and not displaying (also checked caps, underscores etc.)
* Exported sent email as html through Outlook and the broken images are using relative URLs /images/stories/newsletter/inage01.jpg & unbroken are using absolute
* sent test without using article, sent only title small description and image (image still didn't show up)
* sent with working image in top page position rather than bottom of page (top image was broken and the bottom image using the same URL was working)
* tested JCE editor in both "Relative URL" Yes and No positions (no change)
* turned off JCE (no change)

I am at a loss!
I will open a ticket with the login details.

Danny.

I have tracked down the problem... :D

It seems to be the link tracker interfering with the images links. If there is a link before an image the link tracker makes the images link relative rather than absolute.

I don't know how to solve this though. :?

@ginageick
Please download the just released v4.34 which fixes this very rare bug. Thanks to danpoole for giving us access to his site to narrow this nasty bug! :)
